This  IP camera comes with a 10 Ft extension cable which is great since the power cord is a bit short by itself... You can use this cam wired or wirelessly.... it is super easy to connect and mount as well... although for the first time I recommend that you connect it with wired connection so that you will nt get any connection errors for wifi use.... after you connect go onto settings an choose WiFi and enter your WiFi password..after that you can just remove the cable and enjoy... pictures and videos are amazing and I even has night vision... once it is installed download the app from Google play if its an android device and enjoy keeping an eye at the location from anywhere you are at....I personally have mine on my front porch so that I can see who is knocking on my door or at my where about.... can even keep an eye at my car at all times.... love it and I highly recommend to others as well....
